This Labor Day weekend enjoy an afternoon of inspiration, creativity, art, and community at this all-ages public celebration featuring original art by local seniors, spicy snacks and tasty sips, live music, and community art-making activities!

What to Expect
- Experience community arts activities and inspiring displays featuring artwork by local seniors
- Savor tasty sips and snacks, featuring spicy samosas and chai
- After 5p, enjoy live music during our singer-songwriter showcase featuring local musicians Alexander Campos, Shaw, and Amy Pandit
You’ll mingle, sip and snack, and enjoy the sights and sounds, as you stroll the ballroom to experience inspiring arts displays, fun photo opps, and community art-making activities.

Don’t Miss out!
- Take a photo with “Joy,” our life-size Texas Longhorn lovingly handpainted by local senior community members on a 12-foot backdrop with a hill country landscape scene.
- Connect over fun community arts projects, like the Citywide Community Tile Mosaic, a project we’ve been curating all summer long with contributions from community members across Austin.
- Spend some time at our Cards for Seniors table by working together with other community members to craft a few handmade cards for local seniors living in longterm care facilities.

All proceeds from ticket sales and donations will support the Joy for Seniors initiative, serving disabled seniors in the Austin area with arts and wellness programs and community engagement opportunities benefiting their social and emotional well-being.
