In celebration of America's 250th anniversary, seniors across Greater Austin painted the Texas they remember, love, and cherish. For five days their work hangs in the building where Texas is governed, restoring visibility, honor, and voice to our community’s elders.

The Texas State Capitol belongs to every person in Texas, which is why there is no better place to honor our long-time residents. Walk in and explore the building as long as you like.
