Handmade cards are rejuvenating messages from the outside community, bringing feelings of joy, hope, and companionship to seniors living in isolation. You can contribute by attending one of our community in-person cardmaking sessions (in Austin) or making cards from home and mailing them to us.

How can I make cards?
You can make cards in person at one of our community cardmaking sessions in Austin, or you can make cards from home and mail them to us. Sign up on the form above to receive guidelines and instructions on how you can contribute.
How can I request cards?
We partner with longterm senior care and assisted living facilities, including nursing homes, retirement centers, skilled nursing wings, in the Central Texas area. Eligible care facilities can request cards at this link.
Can I make a donation with the cards?
Yes, we accept donations to cover costs for supplies and shipping for Cards for Seniors and to fund in-person art-making experiences for low-income, disabled seniors in Austin area through our Senior Smiles program. You can donate directly on our website here or include a check addressed to “Artly World” with your cards.
Can I send gifts?
At the moment, we can only accept handmade cards via mail. But if you’d like to do more, consider making a donation to help cover the costs of the program and/or signing up to volunteer for our in-person programs serving seniors in the Austin area.
Can I form a community cohort to make cards?
Absolutely! Get your family, friends, neighbors, and loved ones together to make as many cards as you like. Sign up using the form above to receive guidelines and instructions on mailing them to us.
Do you offer volunteer opportunities for corporate teams and groups?
Absolutely! We can arrange a special team-building card opportunity for your group. Get in touch with us at the form above and let us know you’d like to make cards with your team.
Can I receive documentation of volunteer hours for cardmaking?
Yes, if you need to submit volunteer hours for an organization or school project, we can provide documentation after we receive your cards. Let us know when you fill out the form above that you’d like the hours to be tracked and documented, and we’ll be in touch with more details. On average, we calculate remote volunteer cardmaking at 3 service hours per 25 cards.
